ThinkGeek Holding Gamer-Themed Bogo Sale Through 3/23

Have you had your eye on that customizable portal gun replica and wanted a companion cube cookie jar to go with it, but thought it was more expensive than the organs and combined incomes of everyone in [SUBJECT HOMETOWN HERE]? Always wanted a Vault 101 jacket with matching shoes, but never had enough caps to foot the bill? Maybe now is your chance, because the ever-popular nerd culture store ThinkGeek is holding a buy-one-get-one-50%-off sale specifically on gaming merchandise for the weekend.

ThinkGeek

By using the promo code “HIGHSCORE,” buyers can cut the price of one item in half, provided it’s of equal or lesser value than its partner. As I just learned from my own purchase a few minutes ago, this discount can be applied to more than one pair of items — although it’s important to keep in mind the more expensive items will always be full-price and the cheaper ones will always be the ones discounted. ThinkGeek may be generous, but they’re not stupid.

The sale ends 3/23/14 at 11:59 PM, allowing gamers three days to dig through their couch cushions and cash in their pop cans so they can finally snag those zero-suit Samus statues and World of Warcraft bathrobes they’ve been hankering for.

Obligatory Legal Crap

I am in no way affiliated with ThinkGeek.com other than the fact that they siphon a significant portion of my money, but that’s mostly due to problems with self-control on my part.

About Leedzie

Leda "Leedzie" Clark is a lifelong nerd who prefers writing over a social life, has refined awkwardness to a fine art, and always seems to notice the wrong thing first in any situation. She has a sharp attention to detail and excellent critical thinking skills, which she mostly uses to obsessively analyze the lives of fictional characters.
